John Crump grew up as the lone constitutionalist in a family of Democrats, and once he got into firearms he went all in, starting one gun store and buying another. He sent an article to AmmoLand, then another, then a third, until AmmoLand asked him to write for them full time.
Today John is an AmmoLand News journalist, an NRA instructor and the host of John Crump Live, a long-running interview show that goes deep with the activists, journalists, trainers and creators of the Second Amendment community. He also runs John Crump News and has written several books, including Speaking With Giants.
This visit centered on his newest book, Masters of Firepower: Chronicles of Iconic Firearms Designers, released November 1, 2023.
