Charlie Cook is a lifelong musician who taught instrumental music for more than 20 years before the firearms world claimed more of his time. He became a firearm instructor in 2009, spoke at the Gun Rights Policy Conference in Tampa in 2016 and received the Ray Carter Blogger of the Year Award from GRPC in 2019.
His show, Riding Shotgun With Charlie, has a format all its own: the conversations happen in a car, which puts guests at ease and gets them talking naturally. Charlie has filmed episodes everywhere from SHOT Show to the NRA Annual Meetings, and the show has passed 250 episodes.
Charlie is also one of the great connectors of the 2A community. Five other Daily Gun Show guests have ridden along with him.
